Stephen is a Vancouver based Director of Photography / Lighting Cameraman with over twenty years of Professional Broadcast, Corporate, Documentary, EFP and EPK experience.
Servicing a broad range of clients that range from lifestyle television for HGTV and the
W Network, Reality for Slice and City TV to Documentaries for CBC,
EPK’s for big and small budget features and Corporate work.
I own a comprehensive production package that includes a
Sony FX6, Canon C300 MkII, Canon C300 Mk1 with a large variety of lenses,
all of which come with a comprehensive lighting/grip kit and production vehicle.
Most recently shooting BTS for Percy Jackson Season Two and several horror films including 'Never Let Go' starring Halle Berry, and the Hugh Grant A24 movie 'Heretic'.
One highlight in recent years was shooting the EPK for the movie
'The Mountain Between Us' which involved three weeks on a glacier in -34 degree temperatures watching Kate Winslet and Idris Elba try and stay warm whilst shooting in the high alpine of the Canadian rockies.
